Transportation to/from the Camp
Bus transportation to the camp is available from Toronto. Trip is supervised by the camp's staff. Transportation fee is included in session's cost. If you enroll to a 1 week session, you need to deliver or pick up your child on you own.
DiscoveryLand Camp Daily Schedule
No day at our summer camp is routine. However, we follow a model for each day.
Typical day at the camp consists of 2 sport sessions (kids have to choose 1 out of 3-4 activities), 1 craft session, 1 art/dance/show session (for instance, theatre performance, fashion show, treasure hunting, etc), 2 swimming sessions (before and after lunch). The staff will encourage the child to participate in activities that they believe is the best fit to the camper's personality.
One night a week is taken for a 1.5-2 hours secure night trip to enjoy the mysteries of the night sky and do wildlife research.
Food
To meet our campres' needs one more snack was added this year. Three nutritional meals plus an afternoon and evenining snacks are provided daily. Each meal is prepared with fresh ingredients. Drinking water is readily available throughout the campsite and it has been governmentally approved.
